Best Events This Week 6/4-6/8

Hello Everyone! Our Featured Events are back from their Memorial Day Vacation, having used up all of their PTO accrual, and we’re back to bringing you the best events in Atlanta each week. Keep an eye out for some more site changes coming up soon! New features, new pages, and new ways to interact!

This week we’re still suffering from some event-fatigue following Memorial Day Weekend. Most of the larger venues aren’t pushing big events simply because people aren’t trying to go to them at this point in time – fair enough! For those of you who have toughed through the worst of the sunburn and hangovers, here are the best events this week!

  • Come to Dad’s Garage to see the Hamilton-inspired show, Benjamin Franklin: American Gigolo. This will surely be the next great Founding Father story. Benjamin Franklin may have never been President of the United States, but his tale as King of the Players Club is a story worth telling. Show starts at 8pm and runs $12.50.
  • Head over to the Pinewood in downtown Decatur for Cocktails and Comedy Night! They’ll have local and national comics and signature comics. Make a reservation to save your spot – doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm.

  • The fantastic Yacht Rock Revue will be at Venkman’s this Thursday performing Purple Rain in a reprise of their April Piedmont Park show! This performance is special as it will be commemorating Prince’s birthday. Don’t freak out if you can’t get tickets, Venkman’s will be hosting Prince-related shows all weekend! The show starts at 8pm and costs $15.
