  • Come to Dad’s Garage to see the Hamilton-inspired show, Benjamin Franklin: American Gigolo. This will surely be the next great Founding Father story. • Drop Up Video is a live show that features the comedians riffing on the best and worst music videos we can find (think Mystery Science Theater 3000 meets a slightly drunk Pop-Up Video). Hosted by Atlanta-based comedian Justin Thompson, this show gathers an array of music videos to be screened and made fun of by touring and local comics. Plus free parking and a full bar!

  1. Mother’s Day Weekend Weather in Atlanta: A hot, but finally dry weekend ahead

The warming trend will continue through the short term period and temperatures are expected to remain above normal for highs, generally in the upper 80s on Thursday and even higher on Friday and Saturday. Sunday in particular will be quite warm with widespread 90s degree values and some approaching 93 for Central Georgia. We finally get some relief from the rain, but this weekend will be hot, reaching close to 90!
